My friend works as a lecturer and trainer on computer aided design and, as such, she trains many architects, designers and engineers on how to improve their designs. One of the more recent technologies to emerge is that of Revit Families. These Revit Families make it much easier to design and, as such, she has a great deal of people wanting training on them. In fact, she is so busy with people asking for help with Revit Families that she has had to employ more staff to deal with the training. This is a really happy situation for her to be in, particularly in the present economic climate and she is really thankful for all the extra work. Last week, she had a training seminar and the room was so packed there were not enough computers for everyone to work on. She realises that she needs to make somee changes in order to make sure that situations like this do not happen again. She will be the first to admit that if you do not project the right image in a business then you may ultimately lose a lot since first impressions really do count. With this in mind she is making a few investments to improve the appearance of her training. She does not need to worry about the content as that is already tip top.

Lashing Equipment
Lashing means attaching, fixing or securing a load to a means of transport. It can also mean securing a load inside a container in order to prevent it from sliding or falling. Lashing is a widely used in industry today. There are different types of lashing- direct lashing, diagonal lashing and tie-down lashing. Lashing Equipment can be prefabricated lashing belts, chains, wire rope, and also ropes made of artificial or natural fibres, or a combination of both. Lashing Equipment means devices or aids for securing loads against slippage, tipping and even falling. It may comprise of chains, wires, ropes, straps or rods and is generally used in conjunction with a tensioning device for example a turnbuckle, twist lock or ratchet tensioner. Depending on the way in which the load needs to be secured, it may be referred to as cylinder lashing, cross lashing, wire-rope lashing or round-turn lashing.
